Sr. Project Manager – M&A

Our client, a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm is searching for a Senior Project Manager-Post M&A Integration to help successfully manage the diligence and/or integration of the company's acquired entities. Working with cross-functional teams, successful candidates are skilled project managers with broad functional knowledge who can see the big picture while juggling a myriad of details. 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 7 years plus of applicable experience, including managing various projects of increasing responsibility, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or relevant work experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Advanced MS Office skills: Project, Vision, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint
  • Familiarity with M&A tools including Virtual Data Rooms is a plus.
  • Has the ability to work multi-task and manage tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
  • A high degree of business acumen and experience with mergers and acquisition diligence and integration activities
  • Demonstrated excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to formulate the big picture while working on project details
  • Proven success at influencing and leading resources across multiple functions, workgroups, and management levels (demonstrates ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.)
  • Established credibility with upper management
  • A tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to changing projects and priorities
  • Strong written skills
  • Good judgement (regarding who to involve in what projects)
  • Financial services industry knowledge is highly desireable but not required
