Senior Technical Program Manager

Our client, a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm if looking for a qualified Sr. Technical Program Manager with 10+ years of proven experience implementing technical solutions and working with executive leadership teams.

Essential Requirements and Responsibilities :

  • Proven experience working with IT and the business in supporting strategic project and technical system implementations
  • Ability to coordinate with Project Managers, Product Managers and Scrum Masters on projects already in progress and in helping to support new project initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate and develop go live roadmaps with internal and project stakeholder teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and executives
  • Strong knowledge in project management discipline to effectively arrange resources and manage multiple medium to high complexity projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Proactively work to build strong relationships across the organization – from IT to the Business
  • Strong knowledge in project management discipline to effectively arrange resources and manage multiple medium to high complexity projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong negotiating and critical thinking skills
  • Customer-oriented, a positive, team-oriented and collaborative attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project, and solid work ethic are expected
  • Leadership skills that can energize a multidisciplinary work team to respond to business needs
  • Airline experience is a very strong nice to have
  • Governance updates, weekly exec email updates, program roadmaps, business requirements, mtg agenda/minutes, RAID (Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions)
  • Ensure consistency/synchronization, status reports, integrated program plan (incl updates), timeline, dependencies, issue/risk mgt (incl. risk, legal)
  • Manage Program Status with key stakeholders during a recurring weekly program meeting with notes and action items being shared to all attendees  
  • Capture program updates and working sessions/meeting minutes and updates needed
  • Utilise ADO, Scrum of Scrums, Demos, and core team meetings to gather status, as needed.
  • Manage with the development of other necessary program documents such as process flow diagrams and business requirements.
  • Support executive communications (executive updates and other governance routines).
  • As needed, support or manage other programs and deliverables driven by client portfolios.
