Our client is seeking an InfoSec Vault Engineer to lead engineering and DevOps efforts for a global secrets management program using HashiCorp Vault, driving automation, orchestration, and cross-team collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead engineering and DevOps efforts for global secrets management program using HashiCorp Vault
- Drive automation, orchestration, and cross-team collaboration for operational efficiency and security
- Design, build, and maintain secure infrastructure including API security, encryption, PKI, and access control
- Provide hands-on administration and support for security infrastructure and monitoring tools
- Engineer integrations between HashiCorp Vault and SRE frameworks
- Collaborate with security and development teams using Agile methodologies
- Author, review, and maintain technical documentation including runbooks and standards
- Act as subject-matter expert and mentor for InfoSec engineers and stakeholders
- Ensure BAU technology stability through change management and incident response
- Oversee disaster recovery processes to maintain operational continuity
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in information security, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles
- Hands-on expertise with HashiCorp Vault and secrets management
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Solid understanding of API Security, encryption, PKI, and authentication and access control
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
- Demonstrated expertise in change management, incident management, and disaster recovery
