Our client, a top tier Management Consulting firm is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with hands on experience in working with ACBS 8.0 to support addressing user requests and delivering overall system enhancements. The analyst will coordinate hand-off’s between the Commercial Back Office, IT support and other development staff. The project is at our consulting clients end client a top-tier International Bank.
The bank uses ACBS 8.0 for managing Loan and Letter of Credit originations for bi-lateral, syndicated, sub-participation and agent deals. With-in the clients, IT department, the business analyst will be responsible to provide overall support of the ACBS application. Support includes responding to user inquires, troubleshooting and researching issues, liaising with other IT Teams, and working with the FIS vendor. The candidate will also manage enhancements via sourcing user requirements, creating business requirement documents, performing unit and integration testing, coordinating user acceptance testing, designing solutions and workflows for business processes, and working on specific sub-projects all involving ACBS 8.0. Qualifications:
- Liaise with business line contacts for clarification and understanding of requirements
- Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints in collaboration with technical teams
- Prepare and present functional aspects of changes/evolutions to developers
- Draft detailed functional specifications/users stories for developers, in line with general specifications or list of requirements provided by project manager / Business Analysts
- Support the technical development team in any functional aspects.
- Organize and keep up to date detailed functional documentation
- Responsible for the functional testing of development
- Develop tests strategy in coordination with project manager / Business Analysts
- Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring
- Write unit test cases and functional test cases for system verification
- Follow the user acceptance test and coordinate the prioritization with project manager
- Experience with ACBS v8.0 Servicing application is a MUST
- 5 years+ as a Business Analyst in Financial Industry
- Technical experience to be comfortable with data models, hands-on with SQL
- Hands-on experience as liaison function with end-users
- Thorough experience in functional testing and validation of development
- Strong technical skills in tests methodology
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong ability to analyze and summarize
- Self-sufficient and pro-active in sourcing information
- Strong sense of confidentiality
- Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, Financial product, Regulatory reporting, Accounting, Back-office processes
- Project cycle methodology
- SQL, XML, data warehouse
- Experience with Business Object would be appreciated
- Experience on additional ACBS components such as Datamart, Notifications, APIs, ATS is appreciated
