Our client is seeking an Accounting Advisory Contractor to support and enhance the monthly close and reconciliation processes. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational accounting experience and the ability to improve close efficiency and financial processes.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Establish and improve monthly close processes and timelines
• Lead and support account reconciliations and financial reporting activities
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely close execution
• Identify gaps and implement process improvements and controls
• Support operational accounting activities across the organization
• Provide guidance and best practices to strengthen close efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align accounting processes with business needs

Requirements

• Strong experience in operational accounting and month-end close processes
• Proven track record of improving and optimizing close cycles
• Experience working at Associate Director / Director level
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (highly preferred)
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, financial reporting, and controls
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
