Senior Marketing Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst with deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud and advanced SQL to join a high-impact Marketing Analytics team within Business Messaging Marketing. This role is critical to scaling audience segmentation and enabling sophisticated, data-driven marketing campaigns reaching millions of customers. The ideal candidate is highly hands-on with audience signal development, Calculated Insights, and segmentation strategy, while partnering closely with Data Engineering to build scalable marketing data infrastructure.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Build and maintain advanced audience segments within Salesforce Data Cloud, including signal identification and Calculated Insights (SQL)
  • Activate and operationalize segments into Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and campaign systems
  • Partner with Data Engineers to design and optimize data pipelines supporting audience systems and marketing analytics
  • Develop automated reporting and scalable dashboards to track campaign performance and marketing KPIs
  • Analyze large-scale datasets (millions of records) to inform audience strategy, segmentation, and revenue opportunity sizing
  • Ensure data accuracy and proactively troubleshoot discrepancies across reporting and activation platforms
  • Translate business objectives into technically sound audience definitions and support complex campaign builds
  • Deliver actionable insights to improve targeting effectiveness and marketing ROI

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data engineering, data science, or related analytics roles
  • Expert-level SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization across large datasets
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (or similar CDPs), including segment creation and Calculated Insights
  • Experience building audience signals and segmentation frameworks for enterprise-scale marketing campaigns
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build and maintain marketing data pipelines
  • Strong experience with automated reporting and dashboard development (Tableau or similar tools)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Basic Python experience for automation and API integrations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
