Our client is seeking an Asset Management Business Analyst to support a strategic data transformation initiative focused on historical data backfill and gap analysis. This role will analyze legacy accounting and database structures and align historical datasets with the firm’s strategic data warehouse. The ideal candidate has strong data analysis and lineage expertise with experience working closely with front office and portfolio management teams.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Analyze historical data stored in legacy accounting systems and databases
• Compare legacy data to strategic system-of-record and data warehouse models
• Identify and document data gaps across legacy and strategic environments
• Partner with front office trading and portfolio management teams to assess business impact
• Triage data gaps and define remediation approaches aligned with the strategic operating model
• Document findings, data lineage, and business requirements clearly for stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong Business Analyst experience within Asset Management or Investment Management
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, data lineage, and gap analysis
• Familiarity with investment datasets including positions and transactions
• Experience working with front office stakeholders and data modernization initiatives
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work onsite and independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment
