Our client, a Financial Servives firm in NYC, is looking for a Delivery Manager to join their Engineering team. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where you’ll get to planning and overseeing projects. You'll coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with desired outcomes aligned to OKRs.
What you’ll be doing primarily:
- Support the Delivery team in setting up and maintaining delivery and project management processes across the company.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Product Managers and Owners to assist in defining and following up on product roadmaps and initiatives.
- Help track resources and timelines to ensure objectives are met efficiently.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements under the guidance of senior colleagues.
- Contribute to creating alignment on delivery dates and support coordination between different teams for product launches.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders with the support of the Delivery team.
- Apply delivery and project management best practices throughout the execution of initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Required qualifications:
- Degree in computer science, design, business or equivalent practical experience.
- Some exposure to agile and iterative software development processes (academic, internships, or work experience).
- Analytical mindset and interest in problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and projects with guidance, meeting agreed scope and timelines.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment.
- Eager to learn how to support and coordinate software teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others. Fluent written and spoken English.
